Payment and Fees
Our services are insurance-reimburseable! We will provide all the necessary codes for insurance on our invoice submitted to you each month [the first week after the end of each month]. So, we are out-of-network providers, which means you pay up front, in full, for services received, and you submit the invoice. The reimbursement check comes to you.
IMPORTANT! As of September 1, 2013 and possibly as soon as July 1, 2013, Abrams & Associates will be submitting Invoices to our clients’ insurance companies. This means, as a courtesy to you, our administrative staff will submit your invoice for services received directly to your insurance. We will post the Insurance Information Form along with “New Patient Forms” on the Home page. Complete the information about your insurance carrier, and we will do the rest. You will still need to pay, up front, for services here, but you will not have to process the paperwork to your insurance company. We will!
Our providers are licensed doctoral level psychologists with either PhD or PsyD degrees, licensed social workers (LCSW) or licensed marriage family counselors (MFT). To work as an associate with Abrams and Associates, LLC, therapists must have several years experience in training and/or post doc work, treating children, teens and adults as well as parents, marital and family work.
Services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance company or your employee benefit plan. Psychotherapy services are also tax deductible as a medical cost.
We make every effort to be goal oriented and efficient. We also do consultation as well as package pricing for families who need combined intervention, such as marital/family, as well as individual or group therapy for their child.
For all licensed psychologists, PhD or PsyD:
Initial Appointment, 60′ $190 [Longer Intakes are available 75' $220 and 90' $250]
Couples/Family Session 60′ $190 [Longer sessions available upon request 75' $220 and 90' $250]
Weekly Individual 45′-50′ $170
Group Therapy 60-75′ $80-$90
Testing Fees vary depending on nature and extent of testing battery. Some of the costs for psycho-educational batteries is reimbursable.
